Sheep is often divided into two groups: Lamb, usually referring to young sheep under 12 months of age, and Mutton,
the meat of the older, adult sheep. Sheep and its by-products have been enjoyed by mankind since the ancient times
and the trend continues today especially in those countries surrounding the Mediterranean, UK & Ireland, Australia &
New Zeland, Persian Gulf Arab States, and some parts of China. In China however, there is bigger demand during
the cold winter seasons as Sheep is considered to soothe the "Qi" in the body, and hence the reason why it is
referred sometimes as the winter tonic.
